We are continuously expanding our team of highly skilled clinicians, in order to provide the residents of Toronto East, Scarborough, West Durham and Markham, with quality client-centered service and care. Counselling Associates is always looking for skilled, experienced and committed mental health professionals to join our dynamic team.

We are especially interested in candidates who have:

• More than 8+ years of counselling experience with individuals, couples, families and groups

• Advanced training and therapeutic proficiency in one or more of the following approaches: CBT, DBT, EMDR, narrative therapy, interpersonal therapy, solution-focused therapy and mindfulness.

• A graduate degree (e.g. Masters, Doctorate) in social work, psychology, mental health

• Registration in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario, College of Social Workers and Social Service workers, or other regulatory body.

• Experience in culturally competent models of practice

• English language proficiency (written & verbal)

• Skill in working independently and with time-management

• Experience working with teens and children (an asset)
